Reginald T. Holt – President & Chief Executive Officer
He began his Farm Credit career in 1982 serving as a branch manager at the East Carolina Farm Credit in Swan Quarter, North Carolina. In 1985 he transferred to the Farm Credit Bank of Columbia (AgFirst) serving in various credit administration and audit positions until 1992 when he joined Farm Credit of Central Florida as Area Vice President. From 1997 to 2007 Mr. Holt served as Senior Vice President and Director of Agribusiness Lending. In this position he managed the Association’s Commercial, Corporate, Capital Markets, and Crop Insurance lines of business. He also was responsible for the Association’s investments portfolio. Mr. Holt has served in his current position since early 2008. He has a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Banking and Finance from East Carolina University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Florida Southern College and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Mr. Holt is also a graduate of the Wedgworth Leadership Institute at the University of Florida. He serves on the Executive Committee of the AgFirst Farm Credit Council. Mr. Holt is a member and past president of the Plant City Rotary Club, has served as treasurer and board member of both the Plant City Chamber of Commerce and the Plant City Economic Development Council.

Craig A. Register – Executive Vice President / Chief Lending Officer
Mr. Register is a native of Tampa, Florida. He began his Farm Credit career in 1986 serving as a Branch Manger at Farm Credit of Central Florida. After serving in that capacity for a number of years, Mr. Register held positions of increasing responsibility including Corporate Relationship Manager and manager of the Association’s credit underwriting team. In late 2003, Mr. Register accepted a promotion to manage a newly formed credit analysis and support unit at AgFirst Farm Credit Bank. During his four year tenure with AgFirst, he was promoted to Director of Loan Administration and duties expanded to include oversight of the AgFirst District’s association credit review function and participations loan portfolio management. Mr. Register rejoined Farm Credit of Central Florida in February 2008 to accept the Chief Lending Officer position. He has been an instructor for AgFirst’s Farm Credit University and has also conducted credit training for other Farm Credit groups and events including FCCServices’ Loan Officer Training Conference. Mr. Register holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida. Mr. Register serves as an alternate to the Association's Executive Committee.

D. Scott Fontenot – Senior Vice President / Chief Financial Officer / Treasurer / Director of Risk Management
Mr. Fontenot began his Farm Credit career in 1994 as a Loan Officer at the South Central Farm Credit in Sandersville, Georgia. In 1997 he transferred to the AgFirst Farm Credit Bank serving in various finance and credit positions until 2000 when he joined Farm Credit of Southwest Florida as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial & Investment Officer. In addition to the CFO responsibilities at Southwest Florida, Mr. Fontenot was also the lead lender for the Farm Credit Group Consortium, which consisted of six district ACA’s that participated in the capital markets arena. In 2005, Mr. Fontenot left the Farm Credit System to take the CFO position at a private Agribusiness and Venture Capital firm in Orlando, Florida. He was responsible for the overall management and accounting functions of 23 privately owned corporations. As a contributing member of the executive management team, his duties also included cash management, liquidity management through various Wall Street activities and the placement of certain debt instruments vital to the company’s capital structure. In his current CFO position with Central Florida, Mr. Fontenot is responsible for the management of all areas of the Association’s operations including financial, technology, member/loan accounting, regulatory reporting, tax accounting, as well as budgeting, budget performance, and control of Association assets. As the Director of Risk Management, Mr. Fontenot is responsible for the Association’s overall portfolio management and risk assessment. Mr. Fontenot holds a B.S.A in Agribusiness from the University of Georgia and a M.B.A. from the University of Central Florida. He serves as an alternate to the Association’s Executive Committee.

Courtney A. Eelman - Senior Vice President / Director of Loan Administration
Ms. Eelman is a native of Tampa, Florida. She received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Master of Business Administration degree with concentrations in Advanced Finance, Management, and International Business from the University of South Florida. Mrs. Eelman began her career with Farm Credit of Central Florida in 2000 as a credit analyst. She left Farm Credit to work as a Commercial Credit Analyst at AmSouth Bank from 2001 to 2003, where she gained valuable experience working with a variety of large and complex commercial relationships before returning to Farm Credit as Credit Administrator in December 2003. In her current position, Ms. Eelman is responsible for the Association’s loan administration including credit analysis, prior approvals and recommending loan actions to the loan committee. She serves as an alternate to the Association’s Executive Committee.

Jeffrey T. (Jeff) Phillips – Senior Vice President / Chief Relationship Manager
Mr. Phillips is a native of Dade City, FL. He began his career with Farm Credit of Central Florida in 1997 as a Senior Credit Analyst in the Agribusiness Lending Group. Mr. Phillips attended the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Science in Finance as well as his Master of Science degree in Food and Resource Economics. Mr. Phillips is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Mr. Phillips has served various roles in credit analysis and lending throughout his 13 years with the Association and in his current position he is responsible for the Association’s Agribusiness lending unit.

Regina Thomas - Senior Vice President / Chief Business Development Officer
Ms. Thomas began her Farm Credit career in 1994 serving as Branch Manager in the Sanford and Ellerbe branches of Carolina Farm Credit. She transferred to Farm Credit of Central Florida in 1999 as a relationship manager in the Apopka service center. In her current position she is responsible for the Association’s Lifestyle and Small Business lending unit. Ms. Thomas earned her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from Iowa State University and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Since moving to Central Florida in 1999, Ms. Thomas has served as the Treasurer, Vice President and President of the Action Chapter of the Florida Nursery Growers and Landscapers Association (FNGLA). She is currently the FNGLA Action Chapter State Board Representative and is also a member of the Central East Coast FNGLA Chapter. Ms. Thomas served as the Florida Agri-Women’s Vice President and Treasurer and was appointed as the American Agri-Women Horticulture Chair. In addition to being a Seminole County Farm Bureau Board member she serves on the University of Florida SHARE Council Executive Committee.

Johan Dam – Senior Vice President / SAM Manager
Mr. Dam was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, but was raised in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, Bahamas. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Finance from Warner Southern College and completed his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida. Mr. Dam joined Farm Credit in 2007 as a Corporate Loan Relationship Manager. Mr. Dam is currently responsible for the management of the Special Assets Management Department as well as continued management of the Capital Markets lending unit and the Investment portfolio. Mr. Dam has been employed in banking and finance since 1996, including seven and a half years with SunTrust Bank spending time in their Commercial, Governmental, Middle Markets, and Agribusiness banking departments serving both in underwriting and business development capacities.

Scarlet D. Detjen, CPA – Vice President / Director of Internal Audit
Ms. Detjen is a native of Virginia where she began her career in public accounting before relocating to central Florida in 1987. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy. She holds an active Certified Public Accountant license in the state of Florida. Her 10 plus years of public accounting experience includes financial reporting, auditing, and tax. Prior to joining Farm Credit, Ms. Detjen was the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary-Treasurer of HCE Corporation, a holding company for a vertically integrated global agribusiness. During her seven year tenure with HCE Corp, she was responsible for all accounting functions including department management, tax strategy and compliance, and internal controls. Her duties included securing financing and investment of corporate liquid assets. As a member of the strategic management team, she led the development and directed the implementation of strategic business and operational projects. Before joining Farm Credit in October 2008, Ms. Detjen completed the coursework and successfully passed the written exam toward the Certified Valuation Analyst designation. She is currently pursuing the CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) designation and has successfully passed Part I of the testing. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. Ms. Detjen is a past community-based volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Michael R. “Ron” O’Connor - Director of Marketing and Governmental Affairs
Mr. O’Connor is a native Floridian born in Tampa and is a graduate of the University of Florida. He began his Farm Credit of Central Florida career in 1987 as Marketing Manager and was named 1997 National Farm Credit Marketer of the Year. During his tenure, the association’s marketing and advertising programs have earned four Crystal Biostar Awards, symbolizing the Farm Credit System’s best program in that category, as well as numerous runner-up awards. In 2003 he was selected as the Florida Nursery, Growers, & Landscape Association’s Allied Member of the Year Award. Mr. O’Connor also chairs the statewide marketing committee which combines the resources of all five Florida associations to achieve maximum exposure for Farm Credit at Florida’s most important agricultural events. His duties at Farm Credit of Central Florida include coordinating advertising and marketing programs to enhance awareness of the Farm Credit Advantage. Additionally, he assists the Board and CEO in the area of legislative affairs.
He is a member and past President of Lakeland South Rotary, past President of the Florida Agriculture Institute and Polk County Gator Club, past Vice President of the Florida Citrus Showcase, a member of the Florida Citrus Mutual, and Florida Cattlemen’s Association’s, FNGLA’s allied committees, a board member of the Florida Ag Hall of Fame and the Florida Council of Cooperatives, and was awarded an Honorary FFA membership.
