Commercial Loan Officer - Polk County

Farm Credit of Central Florida is seeking an experienced loan officer to manage lending relationships with existing and prospective borrowers in the Polk County area. Responsible for managing a portfolio comprised primarily of agricultural loans;ensuring that profitability and credit quality goals are met while providing excellent customer service. As a community lender with our institution, the successful candidate must have strong relationship, business development and credit assessment skills together with commercial lending experience. Agricultural background a plus. Farm Credit of Central Florida is a long established agricultural lender with a diversified portfolio serving a 13 county area of Central Florida. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree in business or agricultural economics; MBA is a plus. Leading agribusiness lender seeks a qualified Customer Service Representative to assist customers and a team of commercial and corporate lending officers servicing 13 central Florida counties from our Lakeland office.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintains casualty insurance files for the commercial and corporate lending officers.
  • Assists in administering crop insurance program.
  • Accurately maintains various loan information databases to insure the integrity of reports to internal and external audiences.
  • Performs administrative duties such as report generation, typing, filing and processing loan payments.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Minimum of a high school education with at least two years of specialized secretarial/administrative assistant or equivalent experience
  • Energetic, self motivated individual
  • Outstanding organizational and computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task
